3D modelling
This service is the first step to obtain steady and realistic CFD analysis results.
Besides the respect of geometrical dimensions, the model needs to be set with the correct properties of the materials composing the solid elements (i.e. roughness, density, temperature...). These properties can influence the motion field and change even deeply the velocity and pressure distribution.
Pressure distribution
Pressure values can be caught in every node of the mesh: this made possible to calculate the resulting forces applied to each single element of the model. Our engineering design office uses this data to calculate the dimension of structural elements (cables, beams, columns, etc..).
Form optimization
The analysis of velocity flow field allows the comprehension of turbulence phenomena all around the structure. This informations are necessary to understand which shape of the analyzed element minimizes the wind resistance.
